CONCEPT
Taiwan Light Nexus is an exclusive paper-cut lantern designed for the Ministry of Digital Affairs (moda) as a commemorative gift for distinguished international guests. Inspired by the concept of “fiber optics as the medium, digital technology as the language,” it transforms Taiwan’s technological strengths into a contemporary cultural design.
The lantern integrates PCB patterns, AI neural networks, cybersecurity shield imagery, and low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, symbolizing Taiwan’s innovation, digital resilience, secure connectivity, and vital role in the global digital ecosystem.
When illuminated, light shines through the intricate paper-cut layers, evoking signals that transcend borders and carry blessings worldwide. More than a decorative object, Taiwan Light Nexus embodies Taiwan’s spirit of innovation, connectivity, and human-centered technology in the digital age.
光鏈臺灣 (Taiwan Light Nexus)為數位發展部專屬設計之剪紙燈籠，作為贈予國際重要賓客的紀念禮品，以「光纖為載體、數位為語言」為核心主軸，將臺灣的科技實力轉譯為具文化深度與當代美學的設計語彙。 造型以電路板紋理交織AI神經網絡的流動結構，象徵臺灣在人工智慧與數位科技領域中的高度連結與創新動能；整體輪廓融入盾牌意象，隱喻資安防護的穩固基礎，體現守護數位主權與打擊詐騙的核心價值。構圖中，結合低軌衛星所象徵的通訊韌性，展現臺灣於全球數位網絡中的關鍵節點角色。 當燈光由內向外透映，光影穿越層層剪紙紋理，猶如訊號跨越疆界，將祝福與價值傳遞至世界各地。「光鏈臺灣」不僅是一件剪紙藝術作品，更是一種象徵—以光為媒介，串聯科技與文化，傳達臺灣在數位時代中的創新精神與穩定連結，讓世界看見一個兼具理性科技與人文溫度的臺灣。
