CONCEPT
This paper-cut artwork features portraits of Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Mrs. Eloise Gonsalves, commemorating the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Taiwan. Incorporating iconic landscapes such as La Soufrière volcano, waterfalls, and volcanic rainforests, the work celebrates the nation’s distinctive island character. The number “45” symbolizes the enduring friendship between the two countries and their shared journey toward the next milestone.
本作品以聖文森及格瑞那丁總理傅萊德閣下與總理夫人傅凱琳女士伉儷肖像為主體，紀念聖文森及格瑞那丁與臺灣自1981年至2026年建交45週年，並以剪紙藝術融合聖國代表性的蘇富瑞火山、知名瀑布與火山雨林景觀，呈現獨特的自然地貌與島嶼風情；「45」象徵兩國45年深厚友誼與交流，作為外交部紀念贈禮，見證兩國友好關係歷久彌新，並共同邁向下一個重要里程碑。
