Presidential Gift 剪紙肖像元首贈禮
CONCEPT
Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1983, Taiwan and the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis have enjoyed a deep and enduring friendship. This papercut state gift portrays Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew and Mrs. Delysia Prince Drew, incorporating Saint Kitts’ national flower—the flamboyant—together with Taiwan’s plum blossom and orchid, symbolizing lasting friendship and shared prosperity. The flamboyant signifies passion and hope, the plum blossom resilience, and the orchid grace and harmony. The artwork embodies the diplomatic spirit of goodwill, dedication, and mutual prosperity between the two nations.
自1983年臺灣與聖克里斯多福及尼維斯聯邦建交以來，雙邊關係穩健發展，情誼深厚。本次國禮剪紙作品以德魯總理閣下與夫人普琳絲女士肖像為主軸，融入聖克里斯多福國花「鳳凰花」、臺灣國花「梅花」，以及遠銷世界各地、象徵臺灣軟實力的「蘭花」。整體構圖寓意兩國友誼長存、共榮永續。鳳凰花象徵熱情、希望與繁盛，在加勒比地區更被視為吉祥與昌盛之意象；梅花代表堅韌與高潔；蘭花則寓意優雅與共榮。
