CONCEPT
DIOR held its 2024 new collection presentation at the Huashan 1914 Creative Culture Park. They invited the renowned paper-cut artist Yan-Ting Chen, who drew inspiration from Mexican exotic culture and used the simplicity of natural colors as the foundation for the design. With meticulous paper-cut techniques, Chen created the imagery of a butterfly breaking free from its cocoon, symbolizing the resilient spirit of women in their pursuit of freedom and independence. Furthermore, the early spring resort women’s fashion collection is threaded with the thematic element of “butterflies,” symbolizing transformation and liberty. Whether it’s the pearl-embellished embroidery and lace weaving on the clothing or accessories like laser-cut leather and jewelry crafted with metal lost-wax techniques, the butterfly transforms into a completely new Toile de Jouy motif, akin to a rebirth from the cocoon.
DIOR在華山1914文化創意產業園區舉行了2024年全新系列發表會。邀請知名剪紙藝術家陳彥廷，以墨西哥異國文化為靈感，採用大自然質樸的色彩作為設計基礎，並運用精細的剪紙技巧，創作了蝴蝶破繭蛻變的意象，象徵著女性尋求自由和獨立的堅韌精神。此外，這次的早春度假女裝系列貫穿了象徵蛻變和自由的”蝴蝶”主題。無論是服裝上的珠飾刺繡、蕾絲編織等配件，蝴蝶都被幻化為全新的品牌圖騰意象，宛如破繭重生。
