This Christmas season, Xinyi Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Xinyi District has created a unique visual feast by inviting several contemporary Taiwanese renowned designers to collaborate. Among them, the exceptional paper-cut artist Chen Yan-ting showcases his distinctive symmetrical paper-cutting technique, bringing forth a Christmas filled with surprises, where snowflakes symbolize the radiant moments of beauty and joy. “A time that shines so brilliantly it makes people want to cherish it!” This is the essence of his creative concept. With the use of traditional paper-cutting skills, he transforms various snowflake crystallizations, resembling the intricate design of exquisite wristwatches that symbolize the passage of time. These beautiful creations infuse the window displays with a touch of glamour during the festive season, akin to twinkling stars embellishing the holiday atmosphere. This display is not only a visual extravaganza but also a perfect fusion of art and celebration, leaving a lasting impression on all who behold it.
